- Database Management: Configuring and managing new and existing database systems/services for various products/platforms

- Vendor Evaluation: Undertake technical evaluation of new and/or prospective implementations and work with vendors
- SDLC Management: Manage and work around issues or roadblocks in all phases of the SDLC lifecycle of the projects
- Oracle Tuning: Performance tuning, problem determination, analysis and correction of Oracle E-Business Application environments
- Documentation Control: Creating, maintaining, and reviewing environment procedure documentation (e.g., Instance Strategy and Backup and Recovery Strategy)

- Quality Assurance: Ensures that Management System database/analytics development is designed or re-designed, or new database/analytics products meet quality and customer, sales or Gaming Industry market objectives
- Cost Efficiency: Maintains an economical database/analytics development and database support methods
- Proposal Review: Recommends changes, reviews progress and creates and approves cost estimates of database/analytics development and database support proposals
- Stakeholder Engagement: Consults with and involves key stakeholders in all stages of key database/analytics development and database support activities
- Plan Execution: Works with the Manager, Database Administration Services, to drive cross-functional implementation of database/analytics development plans within Systems R&D, including monitoring progress toward milestones and delivery of artifacts
- Status Reporting: Reports the status of database/analytics development projects and database support activities to the Manager, Database Administration Services
