Qualifications: BS in Social Work with 6 years of Experience

• Experience teaching preschool-age children.
• Basic computer skills, including Word/Outlook and data entry programs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work as a member of a team, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism with staff and clientele.
• Knowledge and understanding of issues related to individuals and families in poverty.
• Ability to build upon the strengths of those served with diverse racial, cultural, social, educational, and economic backgrounds, including high-risk populations, to provide high-level services and lasting solutions to fit each individual's and family's needs.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for teaching children
• Knowledge of the Bible and faith development of Infant and Toddler children
• Must commit to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
• Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
• CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications: BA in Applied Psychology with 3 years of Experience

• Experience in teaching in an early childhood environment
• Excellent understanding of the social, emotional, and academic needs of preschool-age children and how to provide for them
• Ability to differentiate a rich, varied, and developmentally appropriate curriculum based on best practices and current research
• Must commit to working collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues
• Ability to communicate respectfully, proactively, and honestly both verbally and in writing with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding curriculum, students, and child development issues
• Must meet all child care licensing requirements.
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication and technology across different platforms
• Possess CPR/First-aid certification
• Experience working with young children, school-setting experience
• Comfort with technology for lesson planning and parent communication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
