3. BS in Civil Engineering with 3 years of Experience

  • Experience in Structural Steel Erection.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools (tape measure, square, etc.).
  • Ability to install structural steel, connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts following blueprints using various bolts, nuts, washers, and torqueing.
  • Ability to assemble and/or fabricate equipment, structures, towers, vessels, conveyors, etc., from instructions from supervisors and/or prints.
  • Ability to modify structural steel by cutting and welding.
  • Ability to unload and position prefabricated material and equipment for hoisting.
  • Must understand construction risks, be knowledgeable in and follow current safety standards, and report any concerns to their supervisor.
  • Willingness to work on aerial equipment (ladder, scissor lift, boom lift, etc.).

4. BA in Applied Mechanics with 6 years of Experience

  • Current Weld Certification
  • OSHA 10-hour certified
  • Experience with various power and hand tools.
  • Experience in blueprint reading, layout, shop tools, oxy/acetylene torch, various hand tools, drill press, saw, ironworker, etc.
  • Work experience in the Aluminum, Steel, Forging, Ductile Iron, Petrochem, Co-gen, Foundry, or Automotive industries
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
  • Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in industry tools and equipment, such as hand and power tools and welding devices
