• Installation of structural steel, stairs, Handrails, and supports.
• Working around machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, and hand tools
• Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
• Have knowledge of position steel beams to support bed plates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings, to determine work procedures.
• Signal the crane operator to lower the basic assembly units to the bed plate, and align the unit to the center line.
• Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts
• Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to the foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Layout mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drill holes with a power drill.
• Bolt parts, such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals, are attached to the basic assembly unit.
• Level the bed plate and establish the center line, using a straightedge, levels, and transit.
• Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment for shipment to the installation site, usually performing installation and maintenance work as part of a team.

Qualifications: BS in Construction Management with 5 years of Experience

• Certified Journeyperson Ticket
• Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for the assignment scope
• Background in structural ironwork
• Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
• Demonstrated strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, provincial, and federal statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Ability to ensure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements
• Must be able to commute to projects and the surrounding areas daily.

Qualifications: BA in Industrial Arts with 7 years of Experience

• Familiar with construction and have worked on construction projects
• Previous experience as an ironworker
• Steel erecting and steel beam experience
• Knowledge of various types of materials and their properties
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures, communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering Technology with 3 years of Experience

• Welding certification for 7018 
• Additional welding certification 
• Experience with rigging and rigging equipment.
• Verifiable experience in working with structural steel/rebar
• Adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for the use of tools and machinery
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and their proper use.
• Must be able to illustrate knowledge of the construction process of constructing a steel/iron structure.
• Must be able to and willing to follow all safety requirements.
• Must be able to work at Heights.

Qualifications: BA in Applied Technology with 4 years of Experience

• Craft certification or relevant certification with experience
• Experience working as an Ironworker within a relevant industry
• Working knowledge of structural welding, use of cutting torches, and all aspects of ironworker techniques and methods.
• Thorough knowledge of crane signals and rigging procedures.
• Rigging knowledge and skills to assist with movements
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
• Ability to weld and currently maintains various weld certificates and/or can show the ability to pass the D1 weld proficiency test, and other weld tests that to perform the tasks of the position
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
