Job Summary: 

• Unloads empty containers from trucks utilizing specific safety procedures to ensure proper handling and worker safety
• Obtains containers documentation, such as a bill of lading, and counts containers
• Ensure count agrees with documented number, inspects containers for damage, logs in returned containers, and stores containers.
• Checks to see that all transfer equipment is operational and functioning, including equipment such as scales, pumps, compressors, monitors, filters, etc.
• Purges returned containers of all liquid, positions containers, and makes proper connections
• Monitors purging and filling processes following specific operational and safety procedures.
• Fills containers by following specific operational and safety procedures
• Ensures that the scale is operating properly and ensures that the marked tare weight agrees with the actual tare weight
• Attaches grounding wire, connects vent line, opens valves, sets scales to appropriate levels to prevent overfilling

• Nominate Western European natural gas positions in a timely and accurate manner
• Check positions with trading counterparts, Transmission and Storage System Operators
• Book gas capacities for gas transportation, supply, and storage
• Integrate and operate new products (storages, VPPs, swing options...)
• Improve nomination and optimization processes via automation and collaboration with IT and Analysis

Job Summary: 

• Performs a variety of entry-level duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of the city's natural gas transmission and distribution system. 
• Assists in the maintenance of other city utilities. 
• Performs as a crew member in the installation, service, and maintenance of gas lines, valves, and regulators
• Makes service connections on mains and trunk lines, fuses lines in making proper connections
