Job Summary: 

• Support supply and logistics fuels compliance. 
• Participate in the development of data collection and reporting processes 
• Maintain and manage the Fuel Compliance database 
• Coordinate and consolidate internal and external compliance data 
• Ensure critical data is available, visible, transparent, and archived properly for auditing purposes 
• Communicate with other departments/functions to maintain compliance requirements. 
• Provide ongoing support for all applicable regulatory and voluntary program audits that the facility is registered in. 
• Compile and prepare reports for various state/federal regulatory programs for review before submissions. 
• Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable on current and new market-based regulations. (i.e., EPA-RFS, California Cap and Trade, California LCFS, ADF, EIA) 
• Disseminate information about regulatory changes with applicable personnel and departments.

Job Summary: 

• Optimize the profitability of fuel sales by collecting, calculating, and managing data within designated systems to include pricing, allocations, and usage
• Performs statistical analysis of market data to provide executive management with industrial and market demands on regional and national fuel trends.
• Prepares margin and volume forecast for each period to assist in financial budgeting and earnings forecast.
• Reviews and adjusts site-level pricing to meet volume and margin budget objectives. 
• Reviews competitive street pricing and market-level spot prices for all fuels to determine margin and cost trends.
• Make recommendations on strategic and tactical fuel suppliers in new market areas or contracts as they open.
• Provide supply and freight analysis support by reviewing invoices and providing backup support.
• Provide analytics and solutions to support the department’s objectives by better understanding performance trends, mitigating risks, identifying threats, and realizing opportunities
• Evaluate alternate fuel purchasing opportunities to determine alternate suppliers’ ability to provide data conducive to existing back office system, including price set up.
• Track daily and weekly contract supply and liaison allocations between store needs and dispatch
