• Support a Team of Pricing Technicians
• Maintain and manage the continual improvement of the Fuel systems
• Analyze fuel financial systems, monitor data warehouses, and make recommendations
• Meet and exceed volume and profit goals by implementing pricing strategies, analyzing reactions to price changes, and developing pricing tactics
• Analyze market trends and adjust strategies according to changing market conditions
• Develop and execute Corporate Fuel Pricing strategies that support division management directives
• Maintains the petroleum products pricing function by analyzing current market conditions, sales volumes, costs, competitive prices, and supply forecasts
• Establishes retail fuel prices by analyzing the change in price and profit and monitoring competition
• Presents recommendations to management, utilizes input from the operations team, and monitors implementation
• Take part in the annual budget process
• Ensure accurate supply costs are calculated for each tender received based on contract agreements.

Job Summary: 

• Execute day-to-day retail pricing reviews and changes across the BJ’s retail fuel network on the selected days, using a combination of proprietary and licensed software applications.
• Assess the pricing of fuel by analyzing market trends and making the most cost-effective decision for each specific location.
• Complete required reporting and analysis on selected days to support the team.
• Overlap with the broader team on Fridays and Mondays to ensure familiarity and comfort with market conditions and strategy going into and coming out of the weekend.

• Partner with the Leadership team on the P&L and agreed KPI’s to support the delivery of business and financial goals.
• Contribute to the creation of complex data sources and reports to provide concise and meaningful insight to the whole business.
