Job Summary:

• Reporting to the Manager, Stormwater Programs
• Implementing projects related to environmental engineering, stormwater management, environmental compliance and earth sciences and providing technical guidance to other project staff.
• Review of planning documents during the development applications process and managing and/or providing input to special projects.
• Contribute to environmental projects related to stormwater, environmental compliance, hydrogeology, and geotechnical aspects.

Job Summary:

• Provide design input to projects, including stormwater management facility retrofits for water quality.
• Assist the monitoring program of the stormwater management ponds and work with Public Works staff during cleaning and restoration.
• Participate in the strategic development and implementation of the Environmental Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and guidelines.
• Review environmental assessment reports and provide advice to consultants who are writing these reports.
