Job Summary: 

• Develops and/or directs the design of electrical production and control equipment, lighting equipment, communication equipment and cost estimates thereof.
• Coordinates the design of new facilities and/or revisions to existing facilities with other engineering management personnel to ensure a smooth integration into the system.
• Prepares plans and/or specifications for construction of electrical equipment.
• Assists the purchasing department in the acquisition of electrical equipment and material, and in contracting procedures where required for electrical construction, maintenance or services.
• Supervises, inspects, troubleshoot, and performs electrical construction, maintenance and services to ensure that work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Establishes repair and preventive maintenance schedules to efficiently service operations, and procures contract assistance where required to do so.
• Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Reviews and approves electrical requirements for capital expenditure requests.
• Provides advice and technical guidance on all matters relating to electrical equipment.
• Coordinates with power suppliers rates, services, and reliability.
• Coordinates electrical energy conservation updates with all levels of management and develops programs/training for improvement
• Advises management regarding advances in electrical technology to improve production and safety.
• Provides strategy, sourcing, and management of contracted electrical employees.
• Ensure the availability of critical spare parts for the electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Understand electrical circuit diagrams/schematics.

Job Summary: 

• Performs other related duties as assigned by the District Production Manager.
• Review equipment at various sites and develop and implement the Electrical Preventive Maintenance Plan (EPMP) as per the Master Service Agreement (MSA) 
• Create and implement schedules and work orders in the CMMS system to support the work needed to satisfy MSA.
• Review sites as part of Operational Compliance Program to ensure adherence to code and JLL program requirements,
• Review reports and work orders from the PM work completed for completeness/accuracy and assist Facility Managers (FM) in implementing the corrective maintenance needed as identified in the PM report.
• Update tasks and schedules in the Electrical program from result report information as a result of reports for preventative maintenance and/or changes to electrical code/legislative requirements.
• With sourcing provide costing, scope, and identify qualified vendors to support both the PM program and resulting project work
• Identifying where Change Requests are needed to capture additional scope and cost.
• Identify projects and assist in the delivery of projects where the scope of the corrective maintenance exceeds the capability of the FM
• Review current asset portfolio to identify needed projects as dictated by age/wear/excessive operation cost of equipment for upgrade/replacement projects as part of Capital Planning. 
• Develop with Facility Manager assistance the documents necessary to justify the capital expenditure.
• Assist Project Delivery as a technical expert assisting in the development, execution, and final delivery of these projects and validate the receipt and accuracy of all deliverables.
• Update of CMMS system to reflect and record equipment/asset upgrades, attribute changes, additions or replacements.
• Participate in budgeting process for annual budgeting and reforecasts and adherence to budgeted allowances.
