Job Summary:

• Assist the residents of residential facilities in the performance of ADL tasks as well as goals and objectives according to the Person-Centered Plan.
• Assist residents in the performance of daily living tasks at the facility as well as in the community including housekeeping chores, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, personal shopping and other tasks by the treatment team.
• Document and report on residential, physical, emotional and behavioral status to the Residential Manager daily.
• Ensure and maintain the safety, security and well-being of all residents.
• Attend and participate in all mandatory staff meetings.
• As directed, participate in and complete a residential training program.
• Assist and supervise residents in individual and group recreational/leisure activities both in the facility and the community.
• Report interpersonal problems between residents and/or staff members to the Residential Manager.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness as well as safety of the facility (see shift duties).
• Assure that resident’s rights (posted) are continually maintained.
• Follow all AFC facility policies and procedures at all times.
