• Maintains program governance and compliance monitoring and oversight of basic compliance activities, including administering the record of processing activities, completing privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments, and documenting data processing agreements.
• Develops policies, procedures, and other compliance artifacts demonstrating organization accountability for GDPR compliance.
• Implements privacy by design approach, identifying product requirements and working with product teams to build product features ensuring individual data subject rights are honored.
• Develops and maintains data inventory including international data transfers. 
• Identifies data transfers and ensures appropriate data transfer mechanisms with clients or subprocessors are in place
• Develops procedures for customer and product support accounting for international data transfer restrictions.
• In coordination with 3M’s Data Protection Officer, directs 3M HIS breach response activities to prevent, detect, contain, and respond to breaches involving personal data.
• Documents technical and organizational measures employed by 3M HIS to protect personal data. 
• Meets with 3M HIS clients to address questions relating to the processing of personal data in 3M HIS products. 
• Respond to audits or inspections and provides information requested by data controllers.
