• Accountable for ensuring architecture definitions are (and remain) fit for purpose.
• Responsible for facilitating and governing the delivery of these to the agreed definitions.
• Define and agree on data and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with/in agile delivery teams, providing the necessary definition detail to facilitate these into the build.
• Support and align activity with the Data Governance Group.
• Designing and implementing new integrations, as well as maintaining the existing integration application landscape and establishing a roadmap for the application/data integration platform.
• Aligning the needs of the organization and promoting consistent data and integration business processes.
• Provide regular status reports to management.

Job Summary:

• Maintain the mesh framework, cookbook, and bootstrap code for data infrastructure as a platform.
• Assessing the data architecture currently in place and working with the team to enhance and evolve the tech stack.
• Design, develop, or enhance data orchestration and operating model using data processing techniques such as pull, push, stream, change stream, and bulk data.
• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for DevOps/DataOps/MLOps for a variety of deployments.
• Ensure data mesh governance and other Shared Services practices such as non-functional requirements are up-to-date and compliant.
• Promote mesh technology to the wider community such as lunch-n-learn. 
• Be a liaison with data product teams on how to use data mesh technology and apply best practices.
• Provide on-ramp services to technical partners to use data mesh infrastructure. 
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Recruit and assist in building a community of practices.
• Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes. 
• Participate in pilot and POCs such as data and operational threat security.
• Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have on the TCO operating model.
