Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience, can be substituted for the degree.
• 10 or more years of experience coding in ColdFusion.
• ColdFusion 2021 upgrade experience is a significant plus.
• SQL skills are required.
• Advanced knowledge of modern OS architecture concepts and communication protocols.
• Proficient in the Agile methodology, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Expert technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
• Good to excellent understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Additional programming language skills such as C# are a plus.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Partner with business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and technical product owners to define features.
• Advanced analytical, design, and problem-solving skills at a multi-product and multi-environment level to troubleshoot system defects and mitigate related issues.
• Expert understanding of project planning and project management techniques, to assist in small projects or group initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express and document complex technical concepts in business terms.
