- Open new accounts and ensure all required documentation is obtained from the client.
- Provide client guidance on the treasury platform and process wire requests for clients as needed.
- Review, obtain decisions and authorize payment of client overdrafts.
- Handle daily customer requests via phone and/or system such as account opening, balance inquiries, and wire processing.
- Perform advances, transfers, payoffs and paydowns on loans.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current lending policies, procedures, and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with customer service or business process.
- Commercial or Auto Dealer Lending support experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Capacity to operate office technology, such as a multi-line telephone system, computer, copier, and fax machine.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions.
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal direct supervision.
- Able to use existing internal support networks and build relationships to help find answers to questions.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal), listen actively, be patient, and ask appropriate questions when necessary.
- Proven customer service/relations skills.
- Willingness to adapt to and embrace change for themselves and with others.
