What You'll Do

  • Conceptualize, engineer, design, and implement civil, architectural, and utility projects within greenfield and operating food plant and non-food facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent engineering background, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience with facilities construction and asset renewal projects at greenfield sites, industrial facilities, and corporate campuses.
  • Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and general construction trade knowledge, including understanding of Design/Build, Lump Sum, Construction Management at Risk, and Construction Management as Owner's Agent delivery systems.

  • Advanced knowledge of Civil and Structural Engineering principles, including steel fabrication, concrete design, earthworks, rebar bending schedules, and construction practices.
  • Experience with metal mining operations including geotechnical, structural, earth, and concrete works preferred.
