• Operate small to intermediate-scale chemical operations (pilot plants). 
• Operating from a distributed control system as well as field operations.
• Construct pilot plants under the guidance of MATRIC engineers, construction coordinators, and project managers. 
• Installing tubing or small diameter piping, rigging and mounting equipment, mounting instrumentation, etc.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of the pilot plant mechanical equipment, including equipment disassembly and repair.
• Troubleshooting process operations and upsets in new and changing technologies.
• Execute life-critical work processes, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), Safe Work Permits, Hot Work Permits, and Confined Space Entry.
• Communicating process status to MATRIC colleagues, including engineers and technicians, as well as interfacing with customer representatives
• Execution of an experimental run plan and research-quality data collection via logbook entries.
• Take responsibility for sample collection and analysis.
• Maintain the general facilities, including housekeeping, minor repair work, environmental operations, painting, or other general upkeep and renewal activities.

Qualifications: BA in Chemical Engineering with 6 years of Experience

• Previous mixing/batching experience in related fields food or pharmaceutical.
• Knowledge of manufacturing in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, etc.)
• The ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to be a self-starter, follow through, and manage multiple tasks along with a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Able to perform mathematical calculations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Willing to work overtime and respond to call-outs.
• Be a team player and willing to work independently.

Qualifications: BA in Chemistry with 2 years of Experience

• Have Arkansas WAGE Industrial Certificate
• A background in Process Technology or Industrial Technology
• Have worked in a chemical/refinery manufacturing environment
• Working experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and philosophy in an operations environment.
• Able to work in varying degrees of heat and cold weather conditions.
• Must have basic math skills
• Able to work in confined spaces and high places and wear respiratory protection and require PPE
• Willing to serve on Emergency Response Teams
• Strong foundation in the knowledge of manufacturing processes and related equipment operations, including general mechanical operations.

Qualifications: BA in Industrial Chemistry with 3 years of Experience

• Must have a basic Mathematics
• Understanding of  the operation of electronic batching controls, scale, and computers
• Practice good communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to operate according to established procedures i.e., DOP's, SOP's, and SOF's
• Ability to learn how to operate basic control systems that monitor levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates of products.
• Familiarity with chemical hoses and connections, operation of valves, and various styles of pumps.
