Job Summary:

• Provide support and technical direction to 6-10 hourly calibration coordinators.
• Assist in providing technical assistance and calibration support of test equipment (commercial and Moog designed).
• Review and ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements flowed down to Moog by contract. 
• Participate in internal and customer/regulatory audits and respond to corrective action responses to any findings.
• Development of calibration test procedures and data sheets to be used on Moog designed and commercial test equipment as well as make recommendations for revision.
• Review test equipment designs and recommend changes to improve calibration, maintenance, and reliability including implementation of state-of-the-art calibration techniques.
• Initializing the calibration record-keeping activity for new equipment and rationalization for necessary capital expenditures and improvements.
• Participate in the Space and Defense Calibration Focus Group to ensure lessons learned are implemented mitigating calibration recall escapes.
• Review all calibration data and records for completeness, accuracy, and out-of-tolerance evaluation. 
• Ensure the maintenance of calibration records to the National Bureau of Standards as well as compliance with applicable Military Standards and Specifications.
