Business Analysis Specialist Job Description Template
1. About the Role
Turning raw query outputs into a forecast someone will act on is harder than it sounds. A Business Analysis Specialist does exactly that - converting SQL extracts, dashboard signals, and ad hoc data pulls into the numbered hypotheses that guide product and go-to-market decisions. The role sits between analytics infrastructure and business strategy, fielding requests from sales, customer success, and supply chain operations simultaneously. Four-plus years of SQL and structured analytical thinking are table stakes here; the differentiator is knowing which number to surface first.
