Job Summary: 

• Teach multiple sections of general biology with lab courses for a mixed enrollment of majors and non-majors. 
• Facilitate undergraduate research activities embedded within an academic course 
• Offer for academic credit, participating in a variety of undergraduate support activities 
• Support the department and institution through service, and deliver actionable.
• Assists in the development of individual research and testing project plans, in the scheduling of test programs
• Assist in the management of workload in the assigned laboratory to help assure timely and satisfactory completion of assigned projects
• Monitors scientific and medical literature for advancement relevant to the assigned research and testing objectives
• Consults with and provides technical evaluations for other departments (Manufacturing, Legal, etc.)
• Responsible for the calibration, safety, maintenance, and efficient utilization of testing equipment in the assigned laboratory.
• Work with test requestors to develop test programs, formulate test protocols, and choose appropriate test equipment. 
• Responsible for the supervision of fabrication, or selection of new equipment
