1. As an Art Consultant, you will lead the research and curation of accessories and artwork to create cohesive, concept-driven design narratives across projects. You will develop and present well-researched concepts, translate them into detailed design documentation, and collaborate with suppliers to support procurement and installation. Art Consultant Duties:

  • Lead in researching and establishing an innovative and unique library of accessories and suppliers, including specific thematic categories, materials, techniques which can be tailored to our projects.
  • Be responsible for developing sophisticated, well-researched and contextually relevant accessories concept presentations.
  • Read spaces and intelligently curate meaningful collections with narratives that relate to the project theme and draw parallels with the wider artwork curation.
  • Refine and evolve the concept presentations through to schematic design mark-ups on floor plans, elevations and renders.
  • Prepare detailed design documents and schedules with item specification, procurement details and supplier information.
  • Liaise with suppliers to establish stock levels, commissioning details and arrange sampling.
  • Provide support in the procurement, commission management and logistics of supplied accessories.
  • Dress and style projects onsite.
  • Alongside your FF&E accessories work you will be supporting the company in its art research and art consultancy for projects.
  • You will support the team with its contextual research and development of artistic themes for the projects – a process which will inform the artwork direction, as well as the accessories.
  • Importantly, this can be considered a ‘hybrid’ role where the boundaries between artworks and accessories blur to create an interwoven and holistic outcome.
  • You will support the company in illustrating artwork ideas, specifically using hand-drawing and graphic design software skills to visualise concepts.
  • Carryout ongoing background research into new artists and artwork developments for our artwork library – which is manged by a colleague.


Art Consultant Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), a BFA in Interior Design, BSc in Interior Design, Bachelor of Architecture or similar.
  • At least three years’ post-graduate experience working for an international design firm.
  • Strong portfolio of design work and accessories curation for luxury hotel projects.
  • Proven track record of design processes from concept design presentations through to detailed design specification and documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience of accessories suppliers and procurement processes.
  • Creative, fresh and dynamic approach to design, accessories, styling and artwork curation.
  • Experience of curating or designing artwork for luxury projects.
  • Passion for modern and contemporary art, with a genuine desire to expand knowledge in this field.
  • Excellent technical skills and proficiency with PhotoShop, InDesign, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.

2. As an Art Director, you will lead the execution and delivery of creative projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards. Art Director Requirements:

Sr. Art Director Knowledge and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a visual designer, art director, or similar creative roles
  • Knowledge of UI, typography, image and related design standards for web
  • Knowledge of digital content production, including familiarity with post-production retouching and editing
  • Fluency with contemporary social media platforms, technologies, and trends
  • Experience with motion design for web and social
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote/PPT, Sketch
  • A degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent professional experience within a design field
  • A provided and accessible online portfolio that demonstrates successful user-centered visual design for across a range of channels, aesthetics, and project budgets


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a multi-channel design role at a creative agency or in-house at an editorial publication, retailer, and/or consumer brand
  • Experience designing for a fashion retailer, designer brand, magazine, or website
  • Exceptional creative concepting and design skills with strong attention to detail
  • The proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and across multiple creative projects to meet aggressive deadlines
  • The proven ability to synthesize and incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners, including merchants, marketers, and product and UX teams

4. As an Art Instructor, you will deliver engaging, high-quality arts programming aligned with the Culture Division’s curriculum, adapting lesson plans to suit diverse age groups and skill levels. You will lead classes and workshops, ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and uphold program standards through effective communication, organization, and collaboration with supervisors and staff. This role requires strong teaching experience, the ability to manage groups, and a commitment to providing a positive, customer-focused learning experience across various program settings.

Art Instructor Functions:

  • Instruct comprehensive arts program(s) as developed by Culture Division to meet the needs of all participants in the program(s).
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans in the arts in a manner appropriate to the audience
  • Work with groups of up to 15 participants (sessional programs) and up to 30 participants (school workshops)
  • Support the objectives and philosophies of arts programs as established by the Culture and Recreation Division through quality instruction and excellent customer and staff relations.
  • Communicate in an effective and timely manner in writing or voicemail with the Program Supervisor all aspects related to facilities, staffing, participants, equipment, supplies or anything that would impact the quality and safe delivery of the program.
  • Complete facility checks before each program starts and report to Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of all registered participants throughout the program
  • Policy and procedure adherence and provide quality customer service and information to participants and other staff.
  • Advise program supervisor of any difficulties with participant regarding behaviour, registration, class lists, program content or any other related issues


Art Instructor Experience and Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education / Training in the Arts including Creative Writing, Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Sewing, Photography and/or Sculpture
  • Must have 2-3 years knowledge of and experience in teaching
  • Excellent communication and organization skills required
  • Emergency First Aid/CPR B certification by employment start date
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development certification by employment start date in order to teach any childrens' programs
  • Access to reliable transportation and willing to work at a variety of locations as needed is an asset
  • Must be confident teaching various age groups and skill levels
  • Experience developing detailed lesson plans
  • A Level 3 – Vulnerable Check will be required of the successful candidate, as a condition of employment, at their own expense, to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted

As an Art Manager, you will lead and support the delivery of high-quality creative projects across games, film, TV, and digital media, ensuring strong processes, resource planning, and execution from concept to completion. You will manage and develop a team of artists, oversee recruitment and resourcing, and collaborate closely with production and discipline leads to meet project goals, timelines, and quality standards. This role requires a creative leader with strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to drive team performance, refine workflows, and maintain consistency across multiple fast-paced projects.

Art Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day line management of the art team, including regular one-to-ones, appraisals, development plans and pastoral care alongside the Associate Art Manager.
  • Manages artist recruitment, including full-time hires and subcontractors alongside the wider recruitment team.
  • Works with Production and Discipline Leads to establish creative needs for each project, including scheduling, process and resource.
  • Works alongside the Production team to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Finding solutions to creative and delivery issues, discussing solutions from a friendly but authoritative standpoint.
  • Works with the Associate Art Manager in guiding the art team to implement feedback and follow direction.
  • Part of a team responsible for quality control and consistency of art and design produced by the studio.
  • Works with the Production team and Discipline Leads to write and deliver quotes and proposals.
  • Management of additional art software resources (e.g. Gumroad).
  • Owner of art-related training, including sourcing materials and courses.
  • Contributes to PR opportunities, DOJO and events when required.


Art Manager Knowledge and Requirements:

  • This candidate must come from a creative background and ideally have experience of leading the artwork creation process in the entertainment industry (games, film, TV, VFX, digital).

  • Technical knowledge of game art production, including user interface design and animation.
  • Multiple successful projects in art leadership/management positions (ideally a minimum 5 years’ experience).
  • General understanding of game-specific art development process.
  • Experience of working in a rapidly changing agency-style environment.
  • Comfortable with all degrees of ownership, from providing reference and brief-writing through to providing high-level feedback on art and design.

6.
