  • Practical knowledge of the capability and limitations of weapons and weapons support systems.
  • Experience highly desired in providing Command and Control services to participating aircraft via radar vectors, radar traffic advisories, altitude assignments, precision profile vectors, airspeed adjustments, boundary distance calls, area containment and other services
  • Experience highly desired as a qualified controller at any of the following Radar Air Traffic Control Facility (RATCF), Radar Approach Control (RAPCON), Terminal Radar Approach (TRACON) or Air Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).
  • Experience in performing non-radar duties when radar data is not available.
  • Able to meet the Transport Canada Class II aviation medical standard
  • Able to obtain a Canadian Government Level II security clearance
  • Able to obtain a DND Ramp Defensive Driving Permit
  • Comprehensive knowledge of air traffic operations, policies and procedures as well as of the National Airspace System (NAS).
