1. Lighting Designer Duties

  • Technical Documentation: Prepare basic construction documents and specifications of lighting and control systems

  • Design Presentation: Participate/lead product and design presentations to Builders, Designers and Architects
  • Client Collaboration: Utilize product knowledge and lighting design skills to collaborate with Business Development and showrooms across all markets to convert new and develop existing Circa Lighting customers
  • Sales Achievement: Meet/exceed architectural lighting sales goals through lighting design efforts
  • Project Travel: Travel for project design meetings and site visits in the showroom trade area markets
  • Deadline Management: Meet established project deadlines
  • Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team with architectural lighting design concepts and solutions
  • Solution Development: Develop lighting solutions for different projects together with lighting consultants, architects and the Sales Team
  • 3D Simulation: Create a 3D lighting simulation and do light planning with various software tools

4. Lighting Designer Accountabilities

  • Specification Production: Production of Technical Specification Packages
  • Concept Preparation: Assist with the preparation of Concept Information
