This role provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develops and documents treatment plans, coordinates referrals, and offers consultation to multidisciplinary professionals. The worker also manages crises, conducts suicide risk evaluations, and ensures the timely completion of all clinical assessments and therapeutic recommendations.

1. Licensed Clinical Social Worker Duties
- Client Assessment: Interview clients in multiple settings including the office, jail, hospitals, court, and defendants’ homes, to assess and refer the client for services.
- Clinical Evaluation: Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical advice.
- Team Supervision: Provide supervision and clinical support to Forensic Social Workers by conducting bi-weekly supervision meetings and setting goals for the department.
- Case Review: Attend a meeting with the Legal team to review cases.
- Report Development: Develop written reports for the Courts which include psychosocial histories, Pre-pleading, and Pre-sentence memoranda.
- Court Support: Attend Court to speak with youth and family members.
- Court Presentation: Participate in Court appearances and present information directly to the Court.
- Crisis Intervention: Conduct crisis interventions and be on-call for arraignment courtroom emergencies.
- Workshop Facilitation: Support the scheduling, planning, and facilitating of weekly workshops for a group of 7-10+ young people (12-20 years old) on topics related to education, careers, goal setting, mental health, and current events.
- Youth Engagement: Build relationships with youth participants to identify workshop topics.
- Community Outreach: Contact local youth-serving agencies and other community partners to bring guest speakers for the workshops.
2. Licensed Clinical Social Worker Details
- Health Management: Employs a variety of strategies, approaches, and techniques to manage a member's physical, environmental, and psycho-social health issues.
