• Carry out laboratory work to develop/improve processes to meet quality, cost, operability, productivity, and SHE objectives agreed with Process Development leadership
• Carry out laboratory support to assist in the solution of manufacturing process issues
• Participate in technology transfer programs in consultation with Process Development leadership, manufacturing personnel, and SHE representatives to allow for safe and effective implementation or modification of oligonucleotide processes
• Prepare representative lab samples of new products to enable business/customer evaluation
• Assist with and/or execute laboratory preparations of API samples for customer use, utilizing best available procedures and practices
• Produce requested amounts of material with acceptable quality attributes
• Maintain laboratory documentation using standard scientific record-keeping practices
• Assist in the preparation of appropriate sections of technical development protocols, technical development reports, and campaign summary reports to properly document laboratory experimentation and conclusions
• Perform assigned group responsibilities to maintain an efficient operating laboratory
