• Design and plan layouts of linear power supply, processor, and analog circuits, as well as layout guidelines.
• Design analog, digital, processor circuits and software.
• Generate schematics, gerber files, Bill of Materials and test procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of creepage and clearance distances and EMC sensitivity.
• Design fixtures for new boards and end unit tests.
• Review customer specifications to generate circuitry compliant with requirements.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and testing (UL, Bellcore, CE).

Job Summary: 

• Assess potential developments, including site visits with the appropriate members of the management team to ensure the product is suitable for the land (or vice versa).
• Produce sketch scheme layouts for Land Appraisals and manage consultants for the preparation of sketch schemes.
• Responsible for the production of CAD Site Layouts within the region, with an emphasis on standardisation of design and presentation style and quality.
• Produce and submit Planning Applications and Planning/Building Regulation Applications and obtain planning permissions and other statutory approvals.
• Provide support to the Design Manager on key design principles throughout the duration of projects.

• Lead future new custom designs, working with both internal and external subcontractors.
• Create a cell-level layout based on the design rules of the foundry.
• Adapt and apply an additional set of rules for radiation hardness based on Te2v radhard design rules.

• Design based on the concept of reusing IPs, but also on the limitations of top level layout coming next.
• Perform top-level layout activities.
