• Perform various maintenance tasks by the Supervisor of Landscaping, including mowing, blowing, raking, trimming, weeding, cleanups, and pruning.

• Immediately report any observed safety violations to the Supervisor of Landscaping and immediately report any accident and/or injury to the Supervisor of Landscaping.
• Load trucks before leaving the yard and unloading at the end of the day.

Qualifications: BS in Horticulture with 2 years of Experience

• Experience working as a landscape worker.
• Must have a safety-first attitude.

• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, odors, gases, dust, etc.
• Ability to work in proximity to heavy traffic.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
• Ability to Communicate in Both English and Spanish

Qualifications: BS in Environmental Science with 4 years of Experience

• Experience with the safe operation and general maintenance of tools and equipment, rake, shovel, broom, small engines, ATV/UTVs, mowers, and other equipment used in landscaping.
• Ability to read and navigate maps, as well as accurately follow directions.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to acquire a commercial pesticide applicator license
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

• Be able to bend, stretch, push, pull, reach, and move to complete various vegetation management duties.

Qualifications: BA in Environmental Studies with 5 years of Experience

• Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to maintain a good attendance record as well as good punctuality.
• Understands and adheres to company and safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and heat stress.
• Must be able to properly, efficiently, and safely work with landscaping hand tools and gas-powered equipment.
• Must be familiar with WorkSafe BC and WHMIS regulations.
• Willing and able to work very early shifts
• Previous experience working in landscaping.
