• Support plant and department goals, including process reliability, safety, quality, and service
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities to identify process issues and improvement opportunities
• Understand production schedule, customer orders, open orders report, shipping orders, or material purchase schedules to determine items to be moved, received, gathered, or distributed
• Convey materials and items from storage, receiving, or production areas to storage, production, or other designated areas
• Assemble customer orders from stock and stages. 
• Check orders to be shipped against the bill of lading and load pallets onto the ruck
• Use a computer to analyze and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• Weigh or count items within the plant to ensure the accuracy of records
• Maintain work and storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion
• Daily communication with all team members and management through the use of shift meetings, email, and other written and verbal methods
• Actively promote safety and identify unsafe actions and conditions through the use of a principle-based safety approach
