Job Summary:

• Provide specialist psychological assessments for determinate and indeterminate sentenced prisoners who are referred to the team.
• Partake in the management and supervision provision of High-Intensity programmes (therefore, a good knowledge of Offending Behaviour Programme delivery would be advantageous)
• Design and undertake psychological interventions from evidence-based literature for offenders who have a variety of different treatment and responsivity needs.
• Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to offenders’ formulation and treatment plan.
• Act as a “professional witness” in parole board hearings, multi-agency meetings, and other formal settings where psychological input
• Deliver staff training on issues such as personality disorder awareness or professional boundaries.
