• Collect and analyze digital evidence from a variety of data sources such as computers, mobile devices, cloud storage, servers, and SQL databases. 
• Collecting live data from endpoints over the network on a domain
• Collect and leverage digital evidence for a wide range of cases such as network intrusions/cybersecurity incidents and a wide variety of internal and external investigations, including Conflict of Interest, Fraud Investigations, and Counterfeit Investigations
• Write clear and concise reports to show process and findings are defensible
• Use Software and investigating techniques specialising in computer investigations and provide evidence relating to mobile devices.
• Seize and exhibit material obtained during the investigation, and compile and submit files of evidence in criminal proceedings.
• Interview suspects in custody in support of the case officer on investigations involving digital technology.
• Provide presentations and hi-tech crime awareness training to colleagues and partner agencies.
• Provide specialist technical support to the Examiner and Technician roles in the digital forensics Unit as an expert and coach technical development within the team in support of the Head of Digital Forensics.

Job Summary:

• Manage and perform security investigations and digital forensic examinations according to the standards needed to meet internal and external requirements on the investigative process.
• Investigate insider threats, data privacy, cyber, and digital fraud, corruption, and violations of code of business ethics events and incidents.
• Develop the insider threat detection and investigation processes
• Provide input to security strategy development and target setting-based specialist knowledge and intelligence analysis

• Conduct, support, and produce timely, meaningful reports of digital forensic analysis and data collection
• Combine and bring context to the combination of various log sources, such as DLP and Office365, and computer forensic analysis

• Apply industry-accepted principles in retrieving, recovering and preserving digital evidence from mobile devices, workstations, servers and cloud-based sources
• Perform in-depth Forensic Analysis on digital evidence collected and provide in-depth reporting to clients regarding findings
• Proficient understanding of technical products and services in the DFIR market

• Consult with and take direction from supervisors, engagement managers, and clients regarding case investigation and status
