• Supports the planning, resourcing, and execution of ITEP’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) phase
• Ground and flight testing activities for the integration of the Improved Turbine Engine (ITE) into the AH-64E and UH-60M aircraft.
• Oversees and manages the day‐to‐day ITE/AH-64E/UH-60M Combined Platform Team (CPT) test activities, and communicates and coordinates results and issues with other ITEP functional areas.
• Collaborates with aircraft and engine Prime Contractors’ program, technical leads, and other personnel to ensure T&E technical work tasks are identified, defined, scheduled, resourced, and executed.
• Supports ITE Test Lead to manage prime contractor performance to meet technical requirements, develop program plans, and cost/budget and schedule estimates.
• Supports the Government review and approval of contractor test plans and test reports.
• Identifies and manages risks associated with qualification and testing efforts.
• Coordinates with other ITE Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), AHPO/UHPO air vehicle teams, ACM, and AP-RDD

• Assist the Government as a flight test engineer for developmental test efforts.
• Perform all facets of flight testing, from initial planning and operations through execution, data collection, reduction, analysis, report writing, and recommendations to ensure on-time completion.
• Provide advisory, review, or draft documentation for the development of test plans and safety packages generated by the USAF, prime weapon system Contractor, and associated Contractors.

• Hold an Aircraft Pilot or Maintenance license

• Experience in flight testing of manned or unmanned aircraft

• Experience with flight testing of large (1000lbs +) UAVs, VTOL aircraft, and/or manned aircraft
• Experience with the first flight efforts of manned or unmanned aircraft
• Able to work closely with engineering and other test personnel to design and execute complex tests and operations on fast-paced schedules
• Proficiency in data analysis with MATLAB, Python, or other scripting tools
• Belief and personal practice of a strong safety culture through the use of SOPs
