Job Summary: 

• Reports to Sr. Finance/Accounting Analyst in support of key initiatives across the organization
• Provides key business partnership support for various operations & technology directors or managers within the GT back-end manufacturing organization
• Provides financial reporting and guidance to various levels of management
• Works closely with other stakeholders to sustain and streamline or improve business processes, strong operational results, and cost management initiatives
• Provides accurate and complete financial results during the monthly/quarterly close process and quarterly/annual planning process
• Utilizes technology systems and automation to improve business processes, analysis, and/or reporting.
• Provides documentation and workflow analysis support for financial systems/process improvement recommendations.
• Responsible for month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate monthly closing of the financial records
• Reconciles general ledger accounts, ensuring the accounts balance to underlying support and investigating and resolving any reconciling items.
• Record journal entries to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist Site finance accounting and Group reporting functions with various financial reporting activities, including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and analyses and miscellaneous accounting activities.

• Identify key trends and issues based on actual and forecasted data, including reviewing monthly variance reports.
