• Read, understand and prepare bill of materials (BOM) to meet the required specifications from customer drawing.
• Cut, weld and bend materials to specification and inspect each part/component for accuracy.
• Safely operate all shop equipment including panel, table, chop and cut-off saws, hand held and extrusion welders as well as bending and butt welding machines.
• Fit, assemble, and inspect parts to ensure accuracy utilizing general shop measuring equipment such as tape measure, calipers and veneers.
• Keep accurate and easy to read job notes and records of work performed and materials used to complete the job.
• Read, understand and adhere to all safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Responsible to maintain a clean and organized work area and clean up saw area after each use.
• Welds metal components together using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment and/or brazing to fabricate or repair products by performing the following duties.
• Joins and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete jobs.
