• Assist with carotid ultrasound with doppler echocardiogram 
• Assist with renal artery ultrasound with doppler 
• Assist with venous and arterial doppler (upper and lower extremity) 
• Determine appropriate use of shielding devices and other accessory devices 
• Administer first aid or provides life support in emergency situations 
• Monitor the patient’s physical and mental state during the procedure 
• Practice infection control, prevent cross-contamination to patients and instruments
