- Able to clean aquarium tanks and exhibits and maintain scuba equipment
- Able to fill aquarium scuba air cylinders, run breathing air analysis tests and keep accurate records
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Aquarium or confined water diving experience
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Have acted as Lead Diver on a minimum of 10 projects with a crew of 3 or more personnel after reaching the level of Diver 2.
- Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol testing.
3. BS in Underwater Welding with 4 years of experience
- Ability to plan dive operations requiring decompression and repetitive dives.
- Knowledge of normal decompression and treatment tables.
- Ability to present to the Operations Manager the completed Diver 1 Proficiency Checklist, initialed by the appropriate personnel.
- Ability to pass the written Diver 1 Test with a score of at least 80%.
- Demonstrate diving ability by having logged 150 or more working dives as a Diver 2.
- Have logged at least 30 dives in excess of 150', and should have at least 10 mixed gas dives.
- Have written recommendations for promotion from two Diving Supervisors
- Demonstrate the ability to competently set up a mixed gas dive station.
- Familiar with air, surface mixed gas and bell diving procedures.
