  • Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

2. BS in Nursing with 2 years of Experience

  • Must be licensed by and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Registration and in good standing with Sonography Canada as a Generalist Sonographer (CRGS)
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS - AB, OB/GYN) 
  • Certification in Vascular, MSK and recent hospital experience

  • Extensive experience in the acute care hospital setting performing sonographic categories of obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, small parts, neurosonology, vascular and/or cardiac imaging 
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.
  • Must maintain competencies in two ARDMS defined specialty areas.
  • Active certification by American Registry of RDMSs (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) 
  • Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies)
