- Experience working with ASME Section IX, and one or more of the following ASME Sections including I, II, III, VIII, B31.1, and/or AWS D1.1.
- Experienced with the development and qualification of Welding Procedures to meet design, construction, and regulatory requirements for power plant applications.
- Experience with evaluation and resolution development of welding-related projects and code issues.
- Must be able to secure unescorted access authorization to the plant site.
- Must be able to master the use of welding management software such as Codeman for welding documentation purposes.
- A high level of AWS and ASME welding knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with advanced welding systems and processes.
- Knowledge and experience with field machining and/or precision measurements for the installation of piping and equipment.
- High level of knowledge related to the implementation and use of electronic welding management systems.
