• Use innovative products such as graphite, carbon fiber, fiberglass or Kevlar to create parts from molds to meet specifications and repair damaged items. 
• Review blueprints and instructions, gather materials, and fabricate each composite part, including trimming, assembling, and finishing. Inspect molds and equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.
• Fabricate aviation parts from molds using various techniques and types of materials, trimming and bonding, and integration.
• Work on blueprints, templates, sample parts, process sheets, and other authorized information.
• Perform lay-up process per drawing requirements and shop travelers.
• Cut layers of material, cloth, carbon fiber and core mat for projects being manufactured.
• Kit, lay-up, bag and cure final assembly of aerospace composite parts.
• Construct wet lay-ups or infusions of carbon fiber, fiberglass, and Kevlar utilizing various methods such as compression molds, vacuum bagging, and compression bladders.
