Civil Design Engineer Knowledge and Requirements:

• The Civil Designer 4 must be able to interpret state and local design criteria and apply it to the specific project needs
• The Civil Designer 4 may direct and train Civil Technicians to assist them in completing reports, exhibits, plans and specifications and permit applications as required by the projects contractual scope
• Ability to consistently produce high quality construction documents

Civil Designer Duties:

• Detailed layout, design and production of drawings encompassing all aspects of a plant construction package in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements
• Inter-discipline liaison, support and timely transfer of information
• Timely completion of drawings and schedules

• Adherence to project man-hour budgets

Civil Designer Experience and Qualifications:

Civil Draftsman Functions:

• Prepare shop drawings based on the design engineer/coordinator’s instructions in order to help him meet the project’s requirements in terms of quality and time.
• Draft structural drawings, formwork, reinforcement, shop drawings and quantity surveying.
• Collect comments of relevant parties (design engineers, design coordinator, etc…) on prepared shop-drawings and make appropriate adjustments to ensure high quality standards of work in conformity with set specifications.
• Review, adjust and plot drawings made by engineers to improve relevant visibility/legibility.
• Coordinate with printing companies, supervise and control the printing process when outsourced to guarantee the good quality of shop drawings.
• Provide assistance to the estimation and business development units in preparing prequalification documents.
• Provide technical assistance to document controller so that to ensure a proper filing, archiving and retrieval of project’s specific documents and drawings.
• Accepts comments positively and learn from own and others experience in order to increase capability and skill level and lower the risk of repeating the same mistake, or the same type of mistakes.
• Ability to calculate earthworks quantities from Civil 3D model.

Civil Draftsman Requirements:

• BA degree in drafting.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in manipulating AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and MS Office.
• Understanding of engineering standards.
• Good team member with concern for details, effectiveness, efficiency, quality and safety.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• High level of team building skills.
• English and Arabic languages skills – written and spoken, French is a plus.

Civil Engineer Duties:

• Assist in the evaluation, selection and application of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to site development projects
• Design for grading and drainage, erosion control, and stormwater that may include analysis, calculations, research, selection, layout, etc necessary to develop required design documents
• Utilize knowledge of departmental design standards and applicable engineering codes to review prepared drawings and documents for conformance; work with civil designers to ensure quality procedures are followed
• Review project schedule and budgeting with project lead
• Assist in design efforts with all project personnel in all disciplines and departments ranging in moderate to large projects
• Collaborate with entry and mid-level employees for skills development; review work progress and results and provide direction as needed

Civil Engineer Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university program required
• 0-3 years industry experience in a design engineer function, Power Delivery experience preferred
• 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license preferred with ability to obtain PE license
• Knowledge of basic spreadsheet, database, word processing programs and basic computer operation
• Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design software, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and drainage calculation software
• Regular, reliable attendance

Civil Engineering Intern Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Civil Engineering Technologist Duties:

• Execute design calculations for sanitary storm sewers and watermain also using computer assisted software programs
• Responsible for preparing and drawing detailed design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assisting team members produce technical memo’s, letters and reports
• Developing design/construction documents and specifications
• Participate in design meetings and project team meetings
• Attend and participate in client/team progress meetings including preparation of meeting records
• Multi Discipline work on Water/Wastewater Plants/Pumping Stations/Environmental/Stormwater Management Plans plus a wide variety of other Civil related work

Civil Engineering Technologist Qualifications:

Civil Estimator Roles:

• Receives customer generated requests for quotations (RFQ’s), reviews engineering drawings, specifications, and available tooling in order to develop costing information for development of quotations
• Performs analysis of operations required for fabrication or assembly of parts and determines if the capability and capacity exist in house or will be done at an outside supplier
• Obtains quotations for materials and operations/processes that will be sub-contracted
• Prepares cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, overhead, tooling, inspection, and non-recurring engineering costs incurred in the processing or assembly of part(s
• Where predetermined standard(s) are not available, makes an estimate
• Prepares quotation for submittal to customer based upon current pricing strategy

Construction Civil Inspector Responsibilities:

• Perform routine field inspections for the purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Monitor, observe, and record the work performed on a daily basis.
• Attend various meetings as needed related to projects.
• Resolve construction field conflicts.
• Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
• Maintain and take care of all company equipment and vehicles.
• Other duties assigned by Entellus supervisor.

Construction Civil Inspector Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in a construction-related field.
• Minimum of an Associates Degree in Construction Engineering or related field.
• Must have a good driving record and valid drivers license.
• Experience working on civil infrastructure projects, preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour construction safety certificate, preferred.
• NICET, ACI certifications, preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Possess sufficient stamina to work outdoors, especially in Arizona summer temperatures.

Senior Civil Inspector Duties:

• Inspects construction contract related to water and wastewater facilities
• Reviews contract plans and specifications for constructability, notes, errors, omissions and potential problem areas
• Schedules, plans, coordinates, and completes site inspections
• Coordinates construction related system outages with client facilities
• Prepares complete inspection reports and maintains a daily diary
• Maintains complete project files including a project photo file
• Keeps detailed records of construction progress, changed conditions, and as built drawings

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with contractors, consultant, and owner

Senior Civil Inspector Knowledge and Qualifications:

• 10-15 years experience as Inspector or Tradesman in related technical field
• Two year technical or Associate Degree in a related technical field
• In-depth knowledge of standard construction specifications, codes and special standards, methods, materials and equipment used in construction of water and wastewater facilities
• Working knowledge of methods of soil compaction and density testing procedures, properties and uses of concrete, and techniques of handling, placing, curing and sampling concrete
• Working knowledge of methods of installation of underground piping, plumbing and drainage systems including methods for trench safety, excavation, bedding, installation, backfill and testing, mechanical valves, above-ground process piping and pipe support systems, manual and automatic valves of all types, mechanical process equipment found in wastewater treatment plants & facilities, all types of pump assemblies and installation of same, horizontal, vertical, centrifugal, etc., testing, start up and commissioning of process equipment and systems
• In-depth understanding of OSHA Construction Safety Orders

Project Civil Engineer Functions:

• Ensuring a “safety first” attitude underpins all operations undertaken for the Company to ensure the health and safety of the company’s personnel and any other people working or visiting site.
• Ensuring all activities are completed safely in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensuring any environmental protection matters are identified and assisting with implementing the mitigating procedures and systems where appropriate.
• Ensuring company procedures and systems on quality, health & safety and the environment are implemented and complied with on site.
• Preparing quality, environmental and H&S construction plans in a timely manner.
• Planning, measuring, monitoring and reviewing the progress of contracts throughout the project’s lifespan and ensuring compliance with project’s budgets and programme.
• Ensuring the accurate setting out and surveying of all aspects of the works.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications and ensuring the accurate construction of the works in accordance with client requirements.

Project Civil Engineer Requirements:

• HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Site Civil Engineer within the civil engineering construction industry preferably on highways and structure schemes.
• Good organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project 2000, Project Costing Software, CAD and Terramodel surveying packages.
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills to write and present reports, prepare business management documents, and present information and responses while participating in meetings with clients and other parties.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Civil Project Manager Roles:

• Concurrently manages a variety of civil engineering Public Works projects
• Tracks project scope, budgets and schedules to ensure fulfillment of contract commitments and profitability
• Effectively manages quality assurance and quality control
• Uses technical knowledge to prepare PS&E for transportation (roadway and intersection widening, street rehab, streetscape improvements, complete streets, etc), storm drain (hydrology and hydraulics), water quality BMPs, sanitary sewer, and water pipelines
• Primary interface with clients on project coordination and design and follow-up to ensure quality standards are met, efficiency levels are maintained, and client satisfaction, respect and confidence are assured
• Directs/mentors project engineers and design engineers on technical matters and procedures and acts as a technical resource to staff
• Establishes and fosters client relations and develops letter proposals (scope, schedule and fee estimates)

Civil Project Manager Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
• A California PE license
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Civil Engineering specifically pertaining to Public Works projects
• Minimum 2 years' of project management experience pertaining to Public Works projects
• Experience managing project budgets
• Previous experience working with the City of LA preferred
• Working knowledge of typical computer software programs used in civil engineering design (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Hydrology and Hydraulic, AES, WSPG, Flowmaster, etc)
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• A proven track record and strong desire of providing superior client service and delivery
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time within budget
• Experience in staff management, mentoring and resource management a plus

Civil Site Engineer Roles:

• Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract,
• Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.
• Ensure that the workers adopt safe working methodology.
• Schedule planning and adherence
• Evaluate drawings, specifications and statements of work, calculate quantities and prepare.

Civil Structural Engineer Roles:

• Prepare project documentation and deliverables in accordance with company project and Engineering Design Practices (i.e. evaluation reports, specifications, proposals, estimates, design basis', calculations, hazard logs, test plans).
• Prepare design work packages including scope, duration, and level of effort estimates.
• Prepare signed/sealed engineering deliverables as a Professional of Record (PoR) in accordance with EGBC and client Design Practices.
• Provide technical assistance and construction support in the field, and undertake field reviews as required by EGBC.
• Design of Transmission Stations at voltage ranging from 25kV to 500kV.
• Structural design, analysis and detailing for Concrete, Steel, Masonry and Timber structures associated with Electrical Substations and Switching Stations such as:
• Control, feeder and compressor buildings
• Electrical equipment supports and foundations (Transformers, Circuit Breakers, etc.)
• Line termination structures and foundations
• Single pole mast structures and foundations
• Underground concrete manholes/vaults and cable duct banks
• Modification, repair and upgrade of existing substation structures
• Seismic analysis and design
• Civil design, analysis and detailing for switchyard site development such as:
• Station site preparation
• Station access road alignment and profiles

Civil Structural Engineer Abilities, Experience and Requirements:

• University graduate in Civil/Structural Engineering
• A minimum eight (8) years of experience in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.
• Strong in structural engineering (more emphasis on this than civil background)
• Be registered with EGBC or a P.Eng who has worked in BC. Candidates who do not meet this requirement likely wont be considered as they wouldn't experience with BC seismic building codes (BC is an earthquake zone)
• Experience in stations design
• Experience in a hydroelectrical utility or experience working on hydroelectrical utility projects is an asset
• Ability to provide technical directions to junior engineers
• Ability to manage design tasks including scope, schedule and cost
• Ability to find engineering solutions that add value and to reach consensus
• Ability to communicate efficiently including verbal and technical writing in the English language, analytical, interpersonal communications and presentation skills
• Experience in project management including estimating, cost control, and project administration
• Civil 3D extensive experience is an asset.

Civil Superintendent Functions:

• Deliver the technical tasks and monitor the progress of the external service providers in the delivery of engineering deliverables and materials to site. In addition to support and assist the civil works on site.
• To Work with the Engineering and Construction Teams to deliver the civil scope within Projects and produce Civil Engineering designs.
• Supervising Contractor staff to ensure work complies with Project Specifications and Design.
• A full understanding of civil design documentation and associated Codes and Standards.
• Planning of civil installation schedules and reporting on progress to line management.
• Managing safety culture of all earthworks and associated operators within the job scopes.
• A full understanding of the requirements of a Work Permit System and capable of working to raise and sign off.
• Supervising civil contractors to ensure work site preparation and efficiency with job scopes.
• Ensure that manhours are coded to the relevant work descriptions for contractor renumeration.
• Ensure work completion in accordance with the latest revision of “Issued for Construction” (IFC) drawings.
• Provide timely completion of any raised punch items.
• Capable of reviewing and marking up “Asbuilt” drawings.
• Checking the work and assisting in the training and development of less experienced field personnel.

Civil Superintendent Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ Years’ relevant experience in Oil and Gas Field.
• Excellent levels of written and spoken English, Kurdish, and Arabic language.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant Codes and Specifications.
• Experience in large and small earth moving, civil stabilization, steel erection, building erection and completion of works on green or brown field sites.
• Capable of resolving technical issues to maintain progress.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.
• Effective and supportive team member.

Civil Supervisor Responsibilities:

• A Generated Gases Site Supervisor must be self-motivated, self-driven, safety conscious, a good communicator and possess good organization, operating, and mechanical skills
• Ownership for site maintenance and housekeeping is key
• Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management
• Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications
• Completion of all administrative responsibilities for the site
• Support all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including:
• Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects
• 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns
• Executing maintenance plans diligently and timely
• Identifying maintenance concerns, by developing and implementing corrective / preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets
• Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, tech support team, and Operations Manager

Civil Supervisor Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:

• Experience on operation of Air Separation Units (ASUs) is a plus but not a specific requirement as training will be provided for the successful candidate
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently but equally able to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated computer experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two- or four-year degree in a technical field a plus, but not required
• 2 years of relevant operations experience is preferred
• Teammate that is flexible with a positive attitude
• Must be willing to work alone
• Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Elevated work required

Civil Technician Duties:

• Install, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems
• Moderate flat-work concrete forming, pouring and finishing
• Carpentry and miscellaneous trade skills
• Landscaping, grading, and fence building as necessary
• Work with Construction Supervisors and Civil Crew Lead to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by Construction Supervisors and Civil Crew Lead

Civil Technician Qualifications:
