Job Summary:

• Providing personal and general care for residents, in line with care plans, whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for all. 
• Provide nurses and other team members with a detailed handover to continue excellent care. 
• Adhering to policies and procedures, including accidents, security, visitors, stock and equipment.
• Arranging and taking part in activities and games, both indoor and outdoor, catering to all participants abilities.
• Support each customer to remain living in own homes for as long as require.

Job Summary:

• Assist in the daily care of the Ladies & Gents living in the home, helping with dressing/undressing, washing, bathing and personal hygiene where necessary. 
• Help the Ladies & Gents living in the home with problems of mobility and other physical disabilities (e.g. incontinence), helping with the use of disability aids and caring for the same, where appropriate. 
• Help with the organization of social activities, and to participate in them to help promote the self-esteem, physical and mental well-being of the Ladies and Gents living in the home. 
• Accompany the Ladies & Gents living in the home on community visits where required and as duty rotas permit. 
• Help with the setting up of the dining room/meal trays in readiness for meal times. 
• Help serve food, assisting the Ladies & Gents living in the home with eating and drinking
• Prepare light meals and snacks, liaising with kitchen staff 
• Help clear up the dining room after meals, ensuring all dirty cutlery, crockery and utensils are returned to the kitchen. 
• Help make and change beds and assist with light domestic duties such as tidying rooms. 
• Collect and take to the laundry the dirty clothing of the Ladies & Gents living in the home. 
• Read and write reports and participate in meetings regarding the Ladies & Gents living in the home
• Participate in training activities/courses, as planned by management.
• Assist with End-of-Life Care for the Ladies & Gents living in the home who are terminally ill.
