Job Summary:

• Delivers professional care to all patients presenting to the Special Procedures Lab, Interventional Radiology dept and Cardiac Catherization Lab;
• Assists the Radiologist and Cardiovascular Specialist in preparing the Cath Lab for all procedures and assists the Cardiovascular Specialist as scrub tech,
• Performs sterile technique and basic EKG interpretation,
• Documents procedures on Mac Lab
• Prepares all patients for lab procedures in Interventional Radiology/Cath/Special Procedures
• Participates in coordination of care with the Cath Lab Management, departmental staff, physicians and ancillary services
• Plans and arranges daily workload with supervisor and other personnel.

• Assists Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker and ICD implants.

Job Summary:

• Assists in the pre-procedure preparation of patients scheduled for lab procedures.
• Completes sterile field setup and lab preparation of patients for procedures.
• Assists in the performance of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures as well as other procedures assigned to the lab.
• Operates and maintains specialized equipment in conjunction with Biomed.
