  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBIDS/CAC badge for base access/credentials.
  • Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.

  • Familiar with Navy Shore Installations and Communications Centers.
  • Working experience with Fiber Optic Cable installation and terminations.
  • Must have NAVSEA STD 009-073 Multi-pin Copper Certification, and NAVSEA STD 009-123 Fiber Optic certification

5. BS in Electronics with 4 years of Experience

  • Experience in the installation, and testing of Cat5 and Cat6 cable as well as terminating Rj-6 (Access control and Wireless Solutions)
  • Working experience installing Siamese Cat6 (Cable includes video and power)
  • Must have the ability to install, pull, terminate, and test low voltage cables and Rj-6.
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage infrastructure and related services
  • Must have full technician toolset (Punchdown tool, Snips, Screwdrivers, Toner, etc.
  • Must also have a Crimping tool for RJ-6
