Job Summary: 

• Power-up, check equipment and prepare the classroom studios for the day.
• Power down control room and close up the office each evening.
• During the recording of a class, operate a video switcher, a multichannel audio mixer, several remote cameras, and multiple recording devices. 
• Double check audio and video quality with audio meters and video scopes while checking the recording decks.
• Provide routine maintenance of the Main EDGE Control Room and studio classrooms
• Scheduled calibration, upgrades, and emergency equipment maintenance, repair and installation. 
• Normal maintenance includes color calibration of video cameras in each of the three EDGE Classrooms.
• Work with the lead technician to evaluate repair and replacement options for malfunctioning equipment
• Develop a replacement plan or workaround to avoid interruption to production schedule.
