• Must have 2nd Class Grade Steam Engineers License with provisional License.

• Basic computer skills such as e-mail and Internet
• Experience working with using computerized control systems
• Mechanical systems repair experience in addition to repair/operating boilers experience

• Experience with water flows and understand the function of the softeners, transfer pumps, and feed water pumps.

• Previous chemical plant experience or knowledge of chemical hazards
• Understanding of safety policies (i.e. Lock Out Tag Out, Hot Work, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.)
• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer (PC and BAS workstation) knowledge
• Strong understanding of all Power Plant systems and associated equipment mentioned above.
• Strong attention to detail, and strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
