Qualifications: BS in Bioinformatics with 6 years of Experience

• Experience in bioinformatics, biostatistics, math, engineering, bioengineering, cellular/molecular biology, or biochemistry/chemistry
• The ability to analyze data generated from cell culture and high-throughput sequencing processes
• A strong skill set for computational biology, statistics, and bioinformatics
• Experience working with both bulk and single-cell RNAseq data
• A deep understanding of biology at the cellular and molecular level, so enabling the interpretation of results in a clear biological context
• Strong computing skills with a proven track record in writing R and Python
• Be comfortable in a modern HPC environment with cloud skills
• Familiar with some pre-existing custom-written R packages and undertake the maintenance and further development
• The ability to work independently, show initiative within a team, and communicate effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications: BS in Computational Biology with 8 years of Experience

• Experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, or similar fields
• Strong scientific understanding of molecular biology and genomics
• Prior working experience in a dry bench/research laboratory
• Experience with genome-scale or big data analysis derived from Next Generation Sequencing
• Working experience with bulk and single-cell RNA-Seq, scDNA-Seq, miRNA, copy number, epigenetics, CITE-Seq, multi-omics integration
• Have fluency in R/Bioconductor and proficiency in Python
• Experience using collaborative development tools such as Git, Confluence, and JIRA

• Professional working experience with bioinformatics.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing RNAseq (whole transcriptomic sequencing) data. 
• Experience with R programming language, and git version control.
• Be comfortable working with Linux (Ubuntu).
• The ability to produce organized and readable codes.
• Experience with installing bioinformatics tools in Linux, both through binaries and compilation from source.
• Be independent, resourceful, and organized, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in other transcriptomics analyses such as de novo assembly, isoform switching, circRNA, etc.
• Working experience in the analysis of other transcriptomics data like Nanostring and scRNAseq.
• Experience taking data from FASTQ through the various steps of QC, mapping, quantifying the data, downstream analysis, and differential expression analysis.
