Minimum Qualifications

The Associate Test Engineer develops automated tests and test frameworks for autonomous vehicle software and hardware systems, working alongside software, hardware, and tools development engineers to identify issues and drive them to resolution. Collaborating across Engineering, Operations, Mapping, and other teams, the associate ensures testing of safety-critical AV applications is completed on time and that findings are documented in comprehensive test reports.

Performance Expectations

• Work with software, hardware, and tools development engineers to develop specific test software, hardware, and instrumentation.

• Identify issues and create clear and comprehensive descriptions; collaborate with developers to aid in issue resolution and verification.

Required Qualifications

Work Activities

• Develop scripts to test hardware and a testing strategy based on hardware schematics.

The work directly supports software reliability and technical knowledge-sharing across the organization through structured test reporting, environment maintenance, and internally communicated testing experiences.

Engineering Responsibilities
