Architecture Manager Details:

• Consult on designs by providing security assurance reviews in-sprint and end-sprint through threat modelling and subsequent risk assessments (collaborating with architects and being an approval party).
• Help design robust security for web/ mobile front ends, micro-service architecture (APIs), containers (kubernetes), databases, on-premise and cloud services (such as pub/sub, dataflow and cloud armor).

Architecture Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

Senior Architecture Manager Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the project life-cycle from pre-design through post-occupancy. Ensure all projects proceed as planned through each stage of design and construction.
• Design Development: Supervise the coordination of in-house architectural and engineering plan sets. Review approved schematic design package and direct the team in preparing permit drawings and bid sets.
• Permit Approvals: Supervise team in preparation of building department submittal package. Enforce quality control standards to ensure a smooth permit approval process. Senior Architecture Manager Knowledge, Experience and Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 10 Years experience working on multi-family projects
• Licensed to practice architecture in California is preferred.
• Strong experience with San Francisco’s permit approvals process is required.
• Must be a good communicator (written and oral) and must be able to maintain effective documentation
• Capability to think critically, solve problems logically and make well-reasoned business decisions
• Knowledge of the codes, laws, and standards that apply to architecture such as local and state building codes. A thorough understanding of code interpretations as they relate to existing non-conforming structures is required.
• Experience with projects in rent-controlled buildings is a plus.
