Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree in architectural design with a minimum of 3 years' experience preparing architectural drawings.
- Complete knowledge of work performed by all construction trades.
- Knowledge of the International Building Code, commercial and residential state codes, uniform dwelling code and local stipulation codes.
- Ability to perform structural analysis for design and estimating purposes.
- Strong math skills applying fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, skilled in Microsoft Office, and able to learn new graphic software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to plan, prioritize and work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- Primarily office-based work with some field time; salary based on 45-50 hours per week.
- Ability to sit, walk, use hands, reach and talk/hear regularly, and occasionally stand and lift up to 25 pounds.
