Job Summary:

• Develop, review, approve and manage Design Engineering tasks within your authorized scope, including but not limited to advice, repairs and modifications
• Develop and approve engineering advice and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness in accordance with the level and scope of delegated Engineering Authority
• Develop system requirements specifications in conjunction with the Team Lead, Project Leads and Programs
• Designing and conducting safe and effective Aerial Target trials
• Analyzing customer and QTS flight data
• Ensuring that Engineering activities are delivered in line with appropriate processes and meet QTS & customer quality, safety and airworthiness expectations
• Mentoring of junior staff to facilitate future growth of the business
• Maintain data files, engineering records and electronic databases as required to accurately report and record engineering decisions
• Audit, and management of all Class 1 rotatable parts tracked in the MIS for each of the aircraft
• Assist correction of any findings from the audit

Job Summary:

• Planning, development, verification, validation, documentation, and configuration control of Finite Element Models (FEMs), analysis and results, working within the direction of the FEA Function
• Perform stress analysis and finite element analysis of airframe structure and systems components, including systems mounts and brackets on the F-16 and F-22 aircraft
• Support ground or flight tests
• Preparation for Airworthiness Reviews (MARC issuance) for two 737 BBJs
• Preparation for the Airworthiness Reviews (MARC issuance) for the three Falcons
• Preparation and configuration for the procurement of 737 landing gear ship sets prior to 2023 gear requirements.
• Improvement of the process of transferring repair work scope from the approved maintenance program to purchase orders and the return of repaired components into the MIS
• Coordinate and direct the execution of preflight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft test readiness
• Provide configuration control of aircraft software and hardware configurations to ensure that hardware, software, and instrumentation configurations are correct to meet test objectives,
• Coordinate maintenance and logistic support for systems checkouts, flight operations, and anomaly troubleshooting

Job Summary:

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity simulation codes to support the design and evaluation of prototype flight control systems. 
• Development and testing of candidate navigation guidance and control algorithms, and real-time flight control codes. 
• Create additional depth in all the NGC competencies, however, additional expertise for development, sustainment, and application of the NGC simulation framework is the highest priority skill set being sought with this posting. 
• Applying simulation codes within hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments. 
• Applying real-time software on embedded computing platforms in an aerospace context.
• Work collaboratively with the NGC team to develop, apply, and test flight control system-level solutions. 
• Work is currently ongoing in support of multiple upcoming planned flight tests which will occur over the course of the next few years at various National missile test ranges. 
• Formulate associated conceptual design solutions.
• Grow into leadership positions in the NGC department involving similar applications for other sponsored programs. 
• Coordinate with other organizations associated with test readiness.
