• Work with the aircraft design team to identify experimental test objectives
• Develop test matrices
• Maintain and develop wind tunnel post-processing routines
• Make aircraft design, performance, and stability evaluations based on experiment results
• Develop aircraft detail design modifications
• Perform flow visualization studies in the wind tunnel
• Produce mathematical models for wind tunnel test hardware and sensors
• Primary responsibility for the design of and data analysis from certification flight tests
• Point of contact and contract manager for related external suppliers (tunnel, CFD shop, model shop, DER support, etc.)
• Guide the Aerodynamic design of the Lilium Jet, to make global trade-offs for a rational design of airframe and powerplant.

Job Summary:

• Prepare, run and post-process full-vehicle and sub-system CFD simulations
• Correlate CFD simulations with both scale and full-scale wind tunnel tests

• Collaborate with the Studio, Body, Chassis, Thermal and NVH teams
• Propose solutions to issues when found
• Develop and improve CFD scripts and methodologies to streamline and optimize the Aerodynamic pre-process and post-process operations
